The Right and The Hypocrite

I made a new friend recently. We planned for a movie one day. I was quite excited about it and got ready early so that we won’t be late for the movie. Some how she turned up very late and then we missed the initial part of the movie. This happened for 2-3 times and then I got really angry and gave her a little sermon on the importance of some level of punctuality.

Next time, it was me who got late. She came with a red face at me and told,
“You stupid angry hypocrite, you tell so much about time keeping and now you are getting late.”
I replied:
“You yourself were late all the time and now what right do you have to ask me about my punctuality?”

We continued arguing with the same lines. Both of us didn’t win the argument but surely our friendship lost in the fight.
